Squeeze Tube Closing Options
ProSys offers a variety of squeeze tube closing options for sealing Plastic, Laminate and Metal tubes. Plastic and Laminate squeeze tube seals include Curved Seals, Rounded Corners, Slot/Hole Punch for hanging tubes and Custom Seals for unique tube presentations. Seal patterns for Plastic and Laminate tubes are also offered in Smooth, Standard or Custom textures. Metal tube closures are offered with Single Fold, Double Fold, Saddle Fold or Triple Fold with smooth or wave crimp options. Plastic, Laminate and Metal tube closures include up to 12 Digit Code with a double side code option.

Tube Sealing Options For Plastic & Laminate Tubes
Hot Air Tube Sealing
With Hot Air sealing the inside seal area of the tube is heated by hot air and then is transferred to the closing station where the tube is pressed together and chilled. Hot air tube sealing is the fastest method of plastic tube sealing and works with all plastic and laminate tubes.
High Frequency Tube Sealing
With High Frequency sealing, energy is used to heat the aluminum and plastic layers of the tube. When the tube reaches the desired temperature the tube is clamped and cooled. High frequency tube sealing is not used for PE tubes.*Upon Request
Ultrasonic Tube Sealing
With Ultrasonic sealing the inside seal area of the tube is heated by high frequency friction produced by an ultrasonic horn. The tube is then clamped against the anvil and cooled to form the tube seal. *Upon Request
